Position Description
A highly visible position that will manage customer relationships as well as operational initiatives by working with Sales, Applications Engineers, Design Engineers, Manufacturing, Controls, Robotics and Software to provide project-based automated solutions from inception through site delivery and customer acceptance. Tremendous opportunity for an ambitious, energetic Project Engineer/Project Manager to make a difference in our growing organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead both project engineering and project management efforts
  • Lead projects in a transparent and productive way, utilizing standard project management practices
  • Effectively communicate project status with CASI leadership team as well as with external customers
  • Interface and communicate effectively with all functional teams
  • Develop System Requirement Document for assigned projects
  • Plan, schedule and track project deliverables and milestones
  • Troubleshoot and generate practical engineered solutions to problems during project lifecycle
  • Create project recovery and mitigation plans; provide direction and hands-on support
  • Ensure projects are delivered on-time and on budget

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years direct work experience in a project engineering capacity
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proven Project Management and Project Engineering experience in manufacturing and automation environments; experience with material handling and pharmacy fulfillment systems a plus
  • Previous success managing concurrent customer projects and delivering projects on time and on budget
  • Proactive, hardworking and able to complete tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Project, Excel, and PowerPoint, AutoCAD and SolidWorks
  • Mechanical or Electrical Design experience, with success in managing product development projects
  • Experience in Critical Chain project management
  • Preferred formalized project management training and certifications (CMP, PMP)
  • Ability to walk, stand and squat to examine and troubleshoot equipment
  • Ability to handle basic hand tools and diagnostic equipment

Responsibilities
We are seeking a motivated, self-managed purchasing agent. Duties will include but are not limited to data entry, effectively managing vendors to maintain business relationships, vendor pricing research.

  • Executes purchase orders and supply-chain initiatives as directed by management.
  • Maintains corporate cost objectives and maximizes discounts; verifies orders and receipt of purchased commodities and services.
  • Confirm purchase orders with vendors; maintain and report purchase order status to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Process returns of materials and goods.
  • Purchase of non-inventory expensed commodities, bulk consumables, fixed assets and supplies.
  • Manage and maintain vendor-managed items, stocking levels and inventory integrity.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments such as accounting, engineering, production and sales.
  • Work with management to create coherent strategies for assigned commodities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years purchasing experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment purchasing fabricated metal components, commercial electrical items and wiring harnesses
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Refined research, evaluation and reporting skills
  • Competent use of MS Excel
  • Ability to complete tasks and maintain deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in contract manufacturing

Following are not required, but are a definite plus:

  • Associate or Bachelors’ Degree in business or equivalent work history
  • Knowledge of local DFW supplier base
  • Experience with Mechanical Engineering Drawings and Documentation
  • Experience with ERP Software Systems
  • Experience with Parcel and Freight Logistics

Position Description
Cornerstone Automation Systems is seeking a creative, innovative senior database development engineer who enjoys a dynamic work environment. An ideal candidate would contribute to the overall coding and design of technology solutions that address the business needs in a fast-paced agile environment. We are seeking a database developer proficient in SQL/TSQL, SQL Server 2012,2014 and 2016. A candidate must be capable of producing new or understand existing complex TSQL algorithms. Must have a strong understanding of table indexing and query optimizations. Has advanced knowledge in database server level configuration. This position will be the gatekeeper for production and this candidate must be comfortable with handling production database deployments.

Requirements
Successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the following:

  • SQL Server 2012/2014
  • Database schema development
  • Database backups and maintenance
  • Complex TSQL algorithms
  • Windows Server 2012
  • Production Change Management Deployments

Experience in the following is not required but will be considered a plus:

  • Networking
  • Service Broker
  • .NET C#/VB.NET
  • Jira

Degree Preferred.
Ability to walk, stand and squat to examine and troubleshoot equipment.

This position is based near Nashville, TN. This position requires the ability to obtain an ADP II Clearance which requires US Citizenship or Green Card. Facility workday begins at 6:30 a.m. to support production shifts.

Position Description

Cornerstone Automation Systems is seeking a creative, innovative software engineer who enjoys a dynamic work environment. An ideal candidate would contribute to the overall coding and design of technology solutions that address the business needs in a fast-paced agile environment. We are seeking a .Net developer proficient in Visual Studio 2010 or newer, SQL Server 2008 R2 and 2012. A candidate with a knowledge and understanding of data driven applications from design to implementation who later leverage best practices for developing scalable solutions. In addition to new Web, Windows and Database development, there are opportunities to upgrade/migrate existing interfaces to the latest technology.

Responsibilities:

Under the guise of a senior developer or software manager, the candidate will:

  • Attend meetings with customers to gather and document business requirements.
  • Execute database queries for reporting and troubleshooting.
  • Participate in acceptance, development, testing and applying non-critical software code changes accordingly.
  • Gain knowledge on all product lines and potentially become a subject matter expert in particular areas of interest or importance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
Successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the following:

  • SQL Skills (Oracle or SQL Server): designing tables/schemas, stored procedures, user-defined functions, ETL jobs
  • C# or Java
  • Windows App
  • Windows Services
  • Source Control Tool, preferably Team Foundation Server, but also would consider experience with Git or Subversion

Ability to walk, stand and squat to examine and troubleshoot equipment
Ability to handle basic hand tools and diagnostic equipment
Resourceful and self-driven
Ability to change priorities
Willing to travel (10% depending on project)

Responsibilities

The Technical Documentation Writer is responsible for creating, maintaining and distributing as-built system documentation for industrial automation. This position requires a person who is comfortable in a warehouse/mechanical environment, is familiar with hardware and software user interface documentation, is capable of handling multiple projects at one time, and understands the need for detail.

Works cross-functionally with all engineering disciplines, including software, hardware, electrical and controls to gather all required information necessary for accurate and high quality documentation.

  • Create Word documents, including creating and modifying Word templates. Also creating tables, insert images, use templates, use of pagination, use of shapes, create hyperlinks and cross-references, create and edit headers and footers, use both portrait and landscape orientation, generate Table of Contents and Table of Figures, and use captions.
  • Research and gather OEM product documentation.
  • Develop system manuals with mechanical and electrical drawings (provided by engineers), and create a DVD of system documentation.
  • Create hardware maintenance manuals with scheduled maintenance and procedures, troubleshooting guides.
  • Work on all phases of documentation with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Work with a variety of software programs and writing tools.
  • Meet documentation delivery milestones.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in a related discipline
  • Five years of experience as a technical writer, preferably in a hardware and software user interface environment
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills, Excel, .pdf creation, RoboHelp, Image editing such as Snagit
  • Ability to research software and hardware products
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple high priority assignments
  • Must be a highly motivated self-starter that needs little supervision
  • Strong emphasis on quality, detail, accuracy and timeliness
  • Sample of prior work is required. Please bring your portfolio to the interview
  • Demonstrated commitment to work collaboratively with a wide range of individuals at all levels of the organization
