Responsibilities:

  • Manage Controls and Electrical Engineering group as a working manager
  • Set programming standards for projects and products
  • Set drawing standards for internal and external manufacturing of wire harnesses and assemblies
  • Assign work and monitor progress of team
  • Lead, educate, and direct junior Controls Engineers in their growth and assignments.

Qualifications:
Minimum 2+ years of experience in constructing, installing, repairing and/or maintaining conveyance and automation equipment. Technical degree or certificate (EET, MET, CT, ETS) a plus.

  • Experience managing technical team required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BSEE, BSME) required
  • 10+ years of experience with automated equipment/systems controls
  • AutoCAD and electrical print experience
  • Extensive PLC programming experience: Allen Bradley, Turck, Wago, etc
  • CODESYS programming background
  • Robotics /Motion Systems Programming a plus
  • Knowledge of electrical devices and components
  • Remote I/O and HMI programming
  • Communications/Mod Bus TCP
  • Ability to walk, stand and squat to examine and troubleshoot equipment
  • Ability to handle basic hand tools and diagnostic equipment
  • Willing to travel.

  • Ability to read and comprehend engineered drawings, diagrams and work instructions.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, thorough, motivated, self-starter.
  • Ability to work with minimal guidance.
  • Ability to troubleshoot in a logical manner.
  • Ability to solve problems in an effective manner.
  • Ability to help lead less experienced team members.
  • Control Panel Design is a plus.
  • PLC knowledge helpful.
  • Computer experience, email, spreadsheet input and report input.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend and recline on concrete floor for 8+ hours.
  • Must be willing to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Will travel to customer sites to participate in and support CASI system installations, implementations and start-ups and training. Represent CASI to our customers.

Qualifications:
Minimum 5+ years of experience in installing and/or maintaining conveyance and automation equipment. Technical degree or certificate (EET, MET, CT, ETS) a plus.

  • Willing to travel extensively (2-3 weeks per trip) within continental US and sometimes abroad. Valid Passport or ability to attain required for international travel. Capable of traveling with short notice.
  • Able to communicate well (verbal and written), as well as interface directly with customers.
  • Experience in system layout, component pre-assembly, conveyor installation, guarding, air piping, detailing and run-in of installed equipment.
  • Ability to read and comprehend engineered drawings, diagrams and work instructions.
  • Experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Ability to troubleshoot in a logical manner.
  • Proficiency with PLC’s a plus.
  • Detail-oriented, thorough, motivated, self-starter.
  • Ability to help lead less experienced locally hired personnel.

  • Stacking products
  • Bending and standing for long periods of time; ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Warehouse maintenance: removal of excess inventory; limited repair work.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in testing of CASI produced conveyor system, loading and unloading test boxes weighing 5 lbs.
  • Assist in loading shipments on to outbound freight carriers
  • Palletizing, crating and shrink wrapping
  • Utilize forklifts and pallet jacks to move parts and products throughout the facility

Requirements:

  • General knowledge of warehouse equipment; a plus Forklift, pallet jack, banding
  • Ability to use general hand tools; drill, hammer, screw driver a plus
  • Attention to detail a must
  • Ability to take direction

Position Description:

Cornerstone Automation Systems is seeking a creative, innovative senior database development engineer who enjoys a dynamic work environment. An ideal candidate would contribute to the overall coding and design of technology solutions that address the business needs in a fast-paced agile environment. We are seeking a database developer proficient in SQL/TSQL, SQL Server 2012,2014 and 2016. A candidate must be capable of producing new or understand existing complex TSQL algorithms. Must have a strong understanding of table indexing and query optimizations. Has advanced knowledge in database server level configuration. This position will be the gatekeeper for production and this candidate must be comfortable with handling production database deployments.

Requirements:
Successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the following:

  • SQL Server 2012/2014
  • Database schema development
  • Database backups and maintenance
  • Complex TSQL algorithms
  • Windows Server 2012
  • Production Change Management Deployments

Experience in the following is not required but will be considered a plus:

  • Networking
  • Service Broker
  • .NET C#/VB.NET
  • Jira

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to walk, stand and squat to examine and troubleshoot equipment
  • Ability to handle basic hand tools and diagnostic equipment
  • Willing to travel (25-50% depending on project)
  • Degree Preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with the VA (customer) and with CASI resources to develop and execute ongoing automated pharmacy system maintenance and upgrade programs.
  • PLC understanding and knowledge a plus. Capable of wiring, commissioning and troubleshooting 24V DC automated systems.
  • Understands the theory of operation as well as troubleshooting techniques for complicated electrical, electronic, robotic, and mechanical equipment and carries out these techniques in a safe and effective manner.
  • Communicates effectively with all production areas in response to needed and requested improvements.
  • Supports both our electrical wiring and Electrical Engineering with a high level of skill.
  • Thorough understanding and reading of electrical schematics.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs robotic, electrical/electronic, mechanical and pneumatic equipment including but not limited to programmable controls, power supplies, drives, conveyors, and packaging equipment.
  • Plans and performs work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical theories and principles.
  • Installs, starts up and shuts down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown and in line with OSHA requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • AA/AS or one-year certificate from college or technical school.
  • 5-7 years of proven experience in the electrical/electronics, mechanical and/or robotics fields required along with the ability to demonstrate high proficiency in these areas.
  • Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced order fulfillment environment
  • 2-5 years of maintenance and troubleshooting experience.
  • Basic understanding of Ethernet, TCP IP based networks preferred.
  • A thorough knowledge of electrical schematics, electrical/electronic components and equipment including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes.
  • Must be able to work well with all levels of personnel whether individually or in a team environment, and especially must be able to interface and communicate with customer line operators in order to assist with repairs and troubleshooting.
  • Willing to work evenings and weekends when needed.
  • High degree of precision work.
  • Must be highly safety conscious.
  • 20% travel if necessary.
  • Able to communicate well (verbal and written).
