Cornerstone is seeking a highly qualified Sales and Marketing Manager to join its winning team! This position requires relationship building with key decision makers in the warehouse automation sector to provide our customers with superior order fulfillment automation and systems solutions to meet their requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree (Equivalent experience will be considered). Technical field preferred.
  • 5+ years of sales experience with warehouse automation-target companies such as Dematic, Intelligrated, SSI Schaeffer, Knapp.
  • 5+ years of experience in working on a team of sales professionals.
  • 2+ years of experience in managing sales employees, resources and partners.
  • Strong knowledge of conveyors, sortation, fixed mount barcode scanners, automatic labeling and in motion scales.
  • Passion to succeed in a commission-based incentive structure.
  • Needs to enjoy working with a team of professionals in designing creative order fulfillment solutions.
  • Ability to interface at all levels, from Board presentations to manufacturing and assembly teams.
  • Strong sense of customer service.
  • AutoCAD experience a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong relationships with customers by regular visits and timely response.
  • Manage a team of 3-5 sales engineering professionals and additional outside reps in developing and selling order fulfillment automation solutions
  • Promote CASI in all appropriate forums. Participate in trade shows.
  • Master our product line including hardware, software and custom solutions.
  • Interface regularly with Engineering and Applications in establishing and updating product offerings.
  • Develop and meet strategic plans, sales forecasts, and goals. Communicate regularly with C-level top management.
  • Develop and implement approaches to penetrate new industry segments and target accounts.
  • Manage the warehouse fulfillment marketing effort.

CASI is seeking a motivated, self-managed individual for a Mechanical Engineer position. Successful candidate should have previous hands on experience designing and building machine equipment, a proven record of delivering required designs within project timelines and demonstrated record of delivering complete designs within budgeted costs. They will play a key leadership role within the central engineering team. The ME will be a critical part of reinforcing and establishing standards and consistency in the product. He/she will have responsibility for engineering tasks including design, analysis and drawing creation utilizing Solid Works CAD Software.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering. PE a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years 3D modeling experience. Solid Works experience.
  • Lead design decision-making in a manner that supports and balances reliability, high availability and scalability.
  • Demonstrated experience in working through problems, from concept definition through manufacturing.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfully; develop alternative solutions; work well in group problem solving situations.
  • Systems integration experience, interface between disciplines (mechanical, machining/fab, electrical, controls, robotics).
  • Project engineering/project team experience.
  • Strong multitasking ability to juggle multiple time-sensitive demands.
  • Ability to work with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to walk, stand and squat to examine and troubleshoot equipment.
  • Ability to handle basic hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Willing to travel. (Up to 10%)

Following are not required, but are a definite plus:

  • Machine design of complex equipment utilizing machining and sheet metal fabrication processes
  • Pneumatic experience
  • Industrial automation experience
  • Motion control experience
  • Document revision control
  • Ability to work with fabrication department to deliver 1st article for inspection
  • Examples of product improvement and cost reductions
  • Robotics experience
  • Electrical experience
  • Advanced Degree

Responsibilities:

  • Review and approve technical design phases of a project.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between all disciplines and parties.
  • Define, establish and maintain technical standards, specifications and methodologies.
  • Utilize ingenuity and inventive thinking to evaluate options for design, deriving the best solutions based on sound analytical judgment.
  • Remain current on new developments in area of mechanical engineering.
  • Participate in project design reviews with consistency across the portfolio as well as compliance to established standards, specifications and performance targets.

Job Description:

The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting operational equipment, interacting with customers, provide technical support via phone, onsite installation, maintain customer satisfaction by solving problems, and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests about products and services.

Position Requirements:

  • Associates degree (or equivalent experience) in Engineering, Automation, or closely related field
  • 2 – 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role solving technical challenges (Maintenance, Tech Support, equipment repair, etc.)
  • High-level ability to test, troubleshoot, service, and repair automated equipment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Detail-oriented, methodical, motivated
  • Self-starter, able to work on your own with little to no supervision
  • This is a customer-facing role and therefore requires a professional appearance and strong inter-personal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Willing to travel anywhere from 20% to 70% of the time
  • Ability to adapt to dynamic work schedules and flexible shifts
  • Understanding of PLCs, control I/O, 24VDC and 120VAC power

Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with customers either by telephone, electronically, or face to face to diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and determine appropriate action
  • Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle inquiries
  • Manage customer cases through CRM, by obtaining and updating all relevant information
  • Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resource
  • Build positive relationships with customers by providing professional, knowledgeable and courteous service
  • Follow up with customers after resolution to ensure satisfaction
  • Work through fundamental PLC program, software, and hardware issues
  • Maintain spare parts kit
  • Perform routine maintenance calls and service

Minimum 2+ years of experience in constructing, installing, repairing and/or maintaining conveyance and automation equipment. Technical degree or certificate (EET, MET, CT, ETS) a plus.

  • Perform mechanical construction from prototypes and engineered drawings.
  • Perform electrical wiring from prototypes and wiring diagrams.
  • Ability to read and comprehend engineered drawings, diagrams and work instructions.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, thorough, motivated, self-starter.
  • Ability to work with minimal guidance.
  • Ability to troubleshoot in a logical manner.
  • Ability to solve problems in an effective manner.
  • Ability to help lead less experienced team members.
  • Control Panel Design is a plus.
  • PLC knowledge helpful.
  • Computer experience, email, spreadsheet input and report input.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend and recline on concrete floor for 8+ hours.
  • Must be willing to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.

  • Willing to travel extensively (2-3 weeks per trip) within continental US and sometimes abroad. Valid Passport or ability to attain required for international travel. Capable of traveling with short notice.
  • Able to communicate well (verbal and written), as well as interface directly with customers.
  • Experience in system layout, component pre-assembly, conveyor installation, guarding, air piping, detailing and run-in of installed equipment.
  • Ability to read and comprehend engineered drawings, diagrams and work instructions.
  • Experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Ability to troubleshoot in a logical manner.
  • Proficiency with PLC’s a plus.
  • Detail-oriented, thorough, motivated, self-starter.
  • Ability to help lead less experienced locally hired personnel.
  • Computer experience, email, spreadsheet input and report input.
