Robotic Depalletizing with PalletizHD

The journey begins with the PalletizHD, a heavy-duty collaborative robot (Cobot) developed by our partners at ONExia and powered by Doosan. This system eliminates the physical strain of manual unloading by safely lifting boxes from pallets and placing them directly onto the conveyor line.

Safety First: The Cobot features advanced sensors that automatically stop movement if a person enters its work area.
Intelligent Patterns: It can memorize multiple pallet patterns for consistent box sizes, allowing it to quickly identify and pick the next box in the sequence.

Intelligent Accumulation: CASi-PowerFlex

Once on the line, packages transition to the CASi-PowerFlex Conveyor. This isn’t just a standard belt; it is engineered for “smarter accumulation,” utilizing run-on-demand zones to ensure packages move efficiently without overrunning or falling off the line.

Durability: Built with heavy-duty steel components, it is designed to handle packages up to 50 pounds while extending the overall life of the system.
Adaptability: Its modular design allows it to adapt to your specific warehouse layout, reducing downtime during implementation

Precision Weighing and Dimensioning

To ensure the most accurate shipping rates and seamless data flow, the booth features an In-Motion Scale and Dimensioner.

Data Integration: As boxes pass through the induction scan tunnel, the system reads the LPN on the top of the box.
WMS Communication: Dimensions and carton weights are supplied in real-time to your Warehouse Management System (WMS), which then triggers the corresponding shipping label response.

ADVANCED OPENING: CASi-IBOD

For inbound processing or decanting, the CASi-IBOD (Intelligent Box Opening Device) is a cornerstone of our automation suite. It measures every incoming box in real-time, allowing for an unlimited number of box-cutting configurations.

Versatile Cutting: Standard options include side, tab, top face, tape, and window cuts..
Content Protection: The CASI Contour Tool selects the ideal cut path to ensure clean openings without ever damaging the contents inside.

ADVANCED OPENING: LID REMOVER

Working in tandem with the IBOD, the Lid Remover completes the box opening process.

Automated Extraction: The Lid Remover uses suction cups to grab box lids and discard them via a trash conveyor.

Automated Labeling: Printer Applicator

As packages head toward outbound shipping, our Printer Applicator streamlines the labeling process.

Seamless Shipping: Customers can automate the printing and application of labels containing content, origin, and destination data.
Flexible Application: Labeling can be completed while packages are in motion or stopped for high-precision placement.

Dynamic Sortation: CASi-SORT

The final stage of our MODEX demonstration is the CASi-SORT system. This module serves as the brain for final delivery, dynamically adjusting sortation destinations to optimize workflow.

Labor Optimization: It automates the verification, documenting, and sorting process—traditionally one of the most error-prone aspects of logistics.
Space-Saving Design: When the system is not in use, the CASi-SORT wings easily fold up to reduce the overall footprint on your warehouse floor.
