HOW CASi-IBOD WORKS
Boxes can be fed in any order by any size. The CASi-IBOD measures the size of every incoming case to provide precision cuts to each box. This allows faster product removal by cutting and extracting items safely by removing the necessity of human use of a box cutter.
Automatic Tool Changer
CASi-IBOD tracks the blades usage over time to determine when the blades start getting dull. When the blades are worn, the robot will automatically replace the cutting tool with a new cutting tool & fresh blades.
Software
An unlimited number of box-cutting configurations are available within the CASi-IBOD specifications. System provides data logging for integration with upper-level warehouse management systems (WMS). It can be fully integrated into third-party hardware & software platforms. A built-in maintenance screen is also included for easy troubleshooting.

Hot Swap tool
A three-head cutting tool replacement tray with a quick-release design, allowing for fast, hassle-free & safe reloading.
Scan Tunnel Module
Up to 5-sided scan module upstream of the CASi-IBOD confirms product received & provides better inventory visibility. This scan can also be used to automatically select the desired cut by SKU
Box Flipper
The carton is lifted vertically from the conveyor, rotated 180° & placed back onto the conveyor. The open end of the carton is now face down on the conveyor & the carton is conveyed to the decant module.

Automatic Lid Remover
The integrated Lid Remover removes box lids to prepare for decanting.
Sorter
