Texoma Community Center provides the accessibility of services that improve quality of life and support self-determination for people with mental and developmental disorders. The organization serves children aged three to seventeen and adults eighteen-years-old and beyond. The community center offers intellectual and disability services, substance use treatment programs, primary care and more. The group also partners with schools and provides mental health care to students nearby.
The CASI Community Grant funding was put towards the Texoma Community Center’s Children’s Program. “To hear that individuals in an agency care about us and the work we do, it’s very heartwarming to know that we are making an impact on our community,” said Amber Denny, the Senior Director of the program.
